Punchy, whip-smart, witty, menacing, fierce but also explosively and mischievously fun, the London post-punk band fronted by return with a perhaps their best yet - a pulsating set of sharp, feminist songs about relationships, society and more. Standouts include the satirical Hot (Don’t Date A Musician), Who Do You Wanna Be?, Leech and the title track, but that doesn’t even include the opening rock banger Kick In The Teeth, the unsinkable energy and passion of I Want You, or the semi-electro-pop of closing track of closer Orbit. Together Rakel Mjöll (lead vocals), Alice Go (guitar, vocals), and Bella Podpadec (bass, vocals), supported by Alex Paveley on drums seem like an unstoppable force. Out on Lucky Number.
