A beautiful third LP following 2020’s Return and 2022’s Sound of the Morning, by the indie-pop Bristol singer-songwriter packed with gorgeous melodies, thoughtful lyrics. and backed by Heavenly Recordings label-mates including producer Bullion. There are shades of classic Fleetwood Mac Tango In the Night-era pop here at times with Pearson’s voice echoing effortless Stevie Nicks soaring, subtle warble of delivery. Obvious standout is the infectious, effervescently tripping along lead single Maybe, but there are plenty of other highlights from open Those Goodbyes, Save Me, the slowly melancholic It’s Mine Now (“honestly this tragedy’s mine now…”), all the way to country-flecked lovely closer Sky. Deliciously wistful, tunes perfectly delivered. Out on Heavenly Recordings.
