Anne Briggs – The Time Has Come
Welcome reissue of Briggs' influential 1971 album which was the first to feature her own compositions. Her previous recordings displayed the unaccompanied melodies of her voice but this album brings additional instrumentation in the form of guitar and bouzouki.
Anne Briggs – Clea Caught A Rabbit
Penguin Cafe & Cornelius – Umbrella
Penguin Cafe and Japanese producer Cornelius's mutual admiration led to them joining forces for this four-track EP. The pair reworked and reimagined existing tracks of their own, alongside two new Penguin Cafe songs.
Penguin Cafe – The Track of the Dull Sun
Beach House – B Sides & Rarities
Having blitzed 2015 with two albums rammed full of hypnotically beautiful songs in a matter of months it's good to have some new material from this duo. The album features two previously unreleased tracks, Chariot, and Baseball Diamond, which were recorded during the Depression Cherry and Thank Your Lucky Stars sessions.

Peter Perrett - How The West Was Won
A wonderfully poetic return by the frontman from The Only Ones, who, after a couple of brief reappearances over the last 20 years, and a long struggle with drugs, has signed to Domino with a heartrending, funny, political and sensitive pop debut solo album. He now plays with his two sons Peter and Jamie, who previously performed with Babyshambles. Packed with timeless lyrics and melodies, and that distinctive voice, he proves there is always a way back through music.

Jad Fair, Tenniscoats & Norman Blake - Raindrops
Jad Fair has teamed up with Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake again and with Japanese mainstays Tenniscoats to create some simple, charming, acoustic pop with that touch of wildness. No video but here's an audio link:
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard – Murder of the Universe
Beasts, supernatural beings, cyborgs and mythical stories, anyone? The 10th album from the Australian psychedelic rock band, and the second for four planned albums in 2017 alone sees a three-chapter narrative of 21 songs that certainly guarantees to take the listener to other places. Bizarre, anarchic, but strangely alluring.

Floating Points - Reflections: Mojave Desert
First in a planned series of environmental recordings by Floating Points to be filmed and recorded at different locations around the world takes the band to the Mojave desert. Instrumentation was recorded with a surround sound microphone and throughout the filming microphones were placed throughout the landscape to capture the natural sonic textures of the desert: the undulating sound of wind, a bird call, the rustling of bushes and more created a backdrop on which much of the record rests.
