This dystopian, violent portrayal of modern Britain by the British electronic producer Kevin Martin is compelling and powerful, with guest appearances from Daddy Freddy, FFSYTHO, Flowdan, Irah, Logan_olm, Manga Saint Hilare, Moor Mother, Nazamba, and British-Trinidadian dub poet Roger Robinson, the latter opening the album with a spoken intro on The Fourth Day where “people were no longer arrested for not being vaccinated, instead they were terminated”. Pressure, featuring the deep-voiced Slowdan, blows a foghorn of bass and menace. This is the third album to his urban triptych, following London Zoo, and Angels & Devils). Other standouts include Demon with Irah, Moor Mother on Vexed, Hammer, and Bobm, with Flowdan, Out on Ninja Tune.
