Now then, I might be putting my lips together, but I Ain't Gwine To Whistle Dixie. Whistling can bring you joy or it can give you great sadness. But here's The Story Of My Life. She was a lovely, but a Simple Girl, and she also happened to be Brazilian. We used to meet down by the Aguas De Marco. But I guess you could say, unfortunately, I had a wandering eye. And I gave a wolf-whistle to another young lovely who was in a Mini-Skirt.
I thought nothing of it at the time. I left it to old Mr Slater's Parrot to go squawking about everything he had heard. That’s when it all went wrong. That was all it took for her to tell me Goodbye Stranger. And that left me Singing The Blues, and after a few fights and arguments, her attorney left me with little more than a Fistful Of Dollars.
Ah well, that was youth. And so after all these years, it's hard to move around any more in my Golden Years. I even have to use The Walker just to get around. But despite all of this, I guess we all just have to go whistle, and try to Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.
