Beautifully profound but serious melodic psych-folk-pop about eco meltdown and the passing of time by Glasgow’s former Trembling Bells singer from her forthcoming second album following 2020’s fabulous Muggington Lane End. Lavinia has variously been compared to Fairport Convention singer Sandy Denny. The song is inspired by Percy Shelley’s poem, Ozymandias, and is about the brevity we have on this planet. To explore more by Lavinia, such as a past single, Waiting For Tomorrow, see also the other embedded link below as well as her Bandcamp page. Out on The Barne Society / Black Records.
