A strong, dark, dynamic, opening indie single from the solo project of PINS member Manchester’s Faith Vern with a ironic title expressing the pain of love, and out on the revamped Drowned In Sound label and its Singles Club series. Vern says her inspiration comes from the likes of “Cindy Sherman, Sylvia Plath, Gregory Crewdson, Virginia Woolf, Nan Goldin to name a few. These writers, poets, photographers, artists, who have shown us the beauty and the desperation in the mundane.”

Tell me is it love
Red light all alone I’m on the way to no control
No no vacancies once you get here you’ll never leave
White lies and secrets stole I’m on the way to no control
God damn domestic bliss heaven forbid i want to live
Can't forgive can't forget I’ve become your silhouette
No no vacancies once you get here you’ll never leave
I’m a cold hearted woman
Cold hearted woman
I’m a cold hearted woman
Cold hearted woman
Tell me is it love
Blind love make a deal I'm falling head over heels
What you give is what you get dressed up in black leatherette
No no vacancies once you get here you’ll never leave
I’m a cold hearted woman
Cold hearted woman
I’m a cold hearted woman
Cold hearted woman
Tell me is it love
Tell me is it love
All I want is true true love
All that I’ve been dreaming of
All I want is true true love
Cold hearted woman
Cold hearted woman
I’m a cold hearted woman
Cold hearted woman
