Let’s wrestle. After yesterday’s Hembree entry, another band from Kansas City, with an upbeat take-you-as-you-are number by the indie rock band formed by four high-school friends in 2014 and taken from their latest album, Dandelion, out on Harvest Records. With a nod to The Strokes as well as their own vibrant style, The Greeting Committee are Addie Sartino (lead vocals), Brandon Yangmi (guitar), Pierce Turcotte (bass), and Austin Fraser (drums). To explore and enjoy more of their music, see the Spotify embed link below or their website.
I like to think I live in film
She's much more digital
She sends me pictures in her rollerblades for visual
She's eating pickles from a jar, I think I love her
That girl I met inside a bar in East Virginia
Do you want me?
I'm here waiting
Let's just make out
What's the harm now?
I think your friend is into me more than you were
But you still call me when you're drunk
So maybe I'm wrong
You stuck your tongue out from the crowd I must be lonely
You're not that girl I miss in Kansas City
Do you want me?
I'm here waiting
Let's just make out
What's the harm now?
Do you want me?
I'm here waiting
Let's just make out
What's the harm now?
