The moniker of Simon Green returns with an eclectic mix of electronica, dance, ambient and clever sampling, with guest appearances from Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Kadhja Bonet, Joji, O’Flynn, Jamila Woods and Jordan Rakei. The highlight of this LP is with the beautiful melody, vocals and chord changes with the Rakei on the song Shadows. Much of the album serves as a subtle, though more chillout fare, though with rising energy on better tracks Rosewood and Counterpart, while Tides with Jamila Woods, and closing track Day By Day with Kadhja Bonet offer a sunlit feel of female vocals. Out on Ninja Tune.
