Fabulous crash-bang post-punk from the Japanese underground scene in this debut LP by the quartet from Nagoya with stop-start rhythms, sharp, gunslinging guitar riffs and witty, shouty vocals that unleash a ball of electric energy. There are parallels with bands of the new wave era, as well as Oh Sees, who they’ve supported on tour. Standout tracks include Deviation, the fuzzy chaos of Human Inane, the thumping stomp of Flux, the title track, and to close the minute and a bit cover of The Urinals’ Ack Ack Ack. Cracking. Out on Upset The Rhythm.
