Gorgeous second folk-pop LP by the London-based Canadian-Serbian singer-songwriter, decorated with perfectly weighted hooks and measured arrangements, pure of voice and with pace that’s both intricate but minimal, like a ticking clock. There’s a mischievous, playful eccentricity to her work, and a maturity that also stands comparison to Cate Le Bon. Piano plays a bigger part in this release but there are also saxophones, various keyboards and violin delicately sprinkled, and highlights include Indigo Highway, I Kiss The Night, Under The Sky, the harpsichord-infused Bend Away And Fall, and the oddball The Day Unfolds. See also her time-themed titled first album Yesterday Is Gone. Out on Full Time Hobby.
