Quality mainstream pop in this third album the London singer, electronica producer and drummer Georgia Barnes this her third dancefloor-focused album, this time co-produced in LA by ex-Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij. Less experimental than before, but extending her growing following more than changing it Rostam even persuaded to do a new version of previous hit We Must Be Dancing, but with clean vocals and Georgia playing live drums, and inspired by the likes of New Order and the Cure at times as well as her core interest of dance music, this is likely to be big hit record and one to continue the electronica success of her father Neil Barnes of Leftfield. Highlights include It’s Euphoric, Give It Up For Love, So What and Keep On. Out on Domino Records.
