Classy, polished, melancholy soulful R&B with the return of the highly successful singer-songwriter from Walsall, who after the bright lights of London scene, has returned to live near her homeland roots with a running lyrical theme of uneasiness with fame. The title suggests, correctly that Jorja is an all-or-nothing sort of person. She also experiments with different styles, after the stylish opener Try Me, Little Things is upbeat and escapist and sprightly Latino jazz mix, Feelings (with rapper J Hus) flirts with Afroswing, GO GO GO is more mainstream pop, while the title track and Broken Is The Man are minimalist melancholy songs wary of love. Too Many Times shows of the tenderness of her smooth voice with barebones guitar, as does the soaring piano ballad closer What If My Heart Beats Faster? A silky vocalist with a fabulously effortless delivery, even if not every song matches that quality. Out on her label, FAMM.
