Released back in April, an enthralling, experimental, emotional electro-pop perspective of the last three turbulent years by the Norwich duo Jenny Hollingworth and Rosa Walton, produced by David Wrench. Heartbreak, themes of facing mortality, but also life-affirmation come to the fore in a set of songs that leap between melancholy and dancefloor, but share wistful, powerful simplicity, and candid lyrics with their multi-instrumentalism. Standouts include Watching You Go, Levitation, Happy New Year, Hall of Mirrors, and the more intimate three closing tracks, In The Cemetery, Strange Conversations, and the title track. Out on Transgressive Records.
