A mesmeric, magical, fusion of boundary-pushing electronica, saxophone and organ by the Swiss virtuoso solo accordion player born in Bosnia now based in Bristol, with guests including Canadian-American saxophonist Colin Stetson on the song Quis Est Quis. Chorea Duplex (feating James Holden) is another standout, but entire album of six long tracks is an experimental wonder, mixing classical, jazz, folk and other styles, morphing between pitter-patter electronica to drones and fast, jittery-finger chugging sounds and hypnotically interweaving acoustic arpeggios. Extraordinary. Out on Invada Records.
