The Cambridge-formed London-based band return with their follow-up after lauded 2020 debut LP Deep Down Happy with catchy, strongly written, swaggering guitar indie, bubbling with energy and an upbeat, arch humour aimed at life’s insecurities. Standouts include The Drop, The Game, Dig, R Entertainment. But not all the album are indie bangers, with closing track Light Industry taking a slower, more melancholy turn and showing a broader spectrum of style. A fun, clever and dynamic follow-up from a band with a bright future. Out on Island Records.
