A supremely beautiful new track featuring the unmistakable voice of former Cocteau Twins singer Elizabeth Fraser working here with her partner and percussionist Damon Reece, with rippling synths, guitar and drums, and taken from the forthcoming EP Sun's Signature, out 18 June on Partisan Records. Both have worked with a variety of other acts, in particular Massive Attack, and Fraser’s other collaborations, also include Oneohtrix Point Never, and Jonsi from Sigur Ros.. To explore more of Fraser’s work, see also her website.
Through the lulled and golden air
Through the bolted gates of nature
Indigo, as it were, answering green
Indigo moves, gentle and hesitant
Voice from the world
When morning is come
Heart up again!
To the candour of nature
I shall watch night fall
Night will think herself alone
And my heart shall say to me
Do with me something
