The duo of Patrick Hills and Morgan Fox from Sacramento, California release a set of serene pieces that capture wide American landscapes and skies with beat-less reverberating ambient guitar, violin, piano and and synths. It’s a relaxing, snail-pace, time-expanding experience, like the soundtrack to a long road movie, or the likes of Paris Texas. The listening experience is almost continuous, but tracks to try out include Those Who Plant, Rags, Walking Toward The End and Almost Home. Americana crossed with Tangerine Dream. Out on Kompakt Records.
