An entrancing, unwieldy energy ball of almost indescribable eclecticism comes with this experimental fusion of electronica, pop, dark metal, prog, jazz and ambience by the Chicago producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Angel Marcloid, in a song taken from the forthcoming album, the almost as wondrously wordy, I Am Upset Because I See Something That Is Not There, out in April. The title is inspired by A Course in Miracles, a spiritual modality and self-study program published by The Foundation for Inner Peace in the 1970s. LYRICS:
In a boat, in a float. Praying takes me away to a mansion I’ve always heard it could be. I’m safe in a cove of what I heard you say. Even demon voices become lucid now. It was a Wednesday night. Slow motion snow-lit drive. Watching my garage open, beaming green. Won’t the light of love shine through and the love of light ensue? Sometimes I don’t want to heal at all. Just let go of me! You can let me go now, please. I’m talking to you, me. The wounded self must be released.
