What’s in the woods? A wonderfully upbeat and inventive swirl of nimble guitar, keyboards and vocals by the British artist Sam Eastgate from his upcoming EP La Fusion, out on 3 May via Domino Records. He is also known for past band Late Of The Pier, and Soft Hair, a collaboration with Connan Mockasin. Last year he also released a great third LP, Fase Luna. When your heart is alive in the morning
When your love is on fire in the night
When you're keeping it cool, but you can't
Baby, you're alright
When you're cool, but you have an emotion
And when your love is a feeling you fight
When you're light as a ghost in the ballroom
Baby, you're alight, yeah
Am I gonna burn? Yeah, city warm heart, city warm heart, uh
Will I ever return? Yeah, city warm heart, city warm heart, huh
Am I gonna learn? Yeah, city warm heart, city warm heart, uh
When I get a turn-up, city warm heart, city warm heart, uh
When your boat is adrift and you're gone, ah
Whеn you're riding the lightning home
Whеn you're beating about in the bushes
Well, you're not alone, no
Oh, come alive in the only tradition
Be a slave to the day that you try
And when your heart is a gift, keep on givin'
Baby, you're alright, yeah, mm
Are you gonna burn? Yeah, city warm heart, city warm heart, uh
Why you never learn? Ah, city warm heart, city warm heart, huh
Are you gonna fight? Uh, city warm heart, city warm heart, uh
Come a-come alive, yeah, city warm heart, city warm heart, uh
Am I gonna burn? Uh, city warm heart, city warm heart, huh
Will I return? Yeah, city warm heart, city warm heart, uh
Come a-come alive, yeah, city warm heart, city warm heart, huh
Will I survive now?
