A beautiful, ghostly new track by the Anglo-American trio of Emily Cross, Dan Duszynski (from Cross Record) and Jonathan Meiburg (Shearwater), heralding their forthcoming new album, How Will I Live Without a Body?, out 28 June on Sub Pop Records. Meiburg describes how: “This mischievous little song was a late addition to the album. We recorded it in a chilly, whitewashed room in southern England, and we didn’t have many instruments to work with at first - just a nylon string guitar, a 2-piece drum set, a Casio keyboard, and a clarinet. But we liked the challenge.”
The band have variously been based in New York, Dripping Springs in Texas and Devon. To explore and and enjoy more by Loma, including previous albums, and singles such as 2020’s fabulous Ocotillo, see also the other embedded links below.
Pink sky
Looming over London
Pink sky
Looming over London
Pink sky
Looming over London
Mmm
Too many days and days
And nights and nights alone
Thoughts like moths
Escaping the cold
And the wind on the reeds
Gulls in the sky
In the same melody endlessly
This love
Isn't open ended
This love
Isn't open ended
This love
Isn't open ended
This life
Is fighting off the sun down
This life
Is fighting off the sun down
This life
Is fighting off the sun down
This life
Isn't open ended
