This epic, enigmatic experimental new track, featuring harpsichord sounds alongside intricate guitars, driving beats and menacing lyrics, heralds the Brighton art-rock-post-punk band’s third LP, Cowards, out in February 2025 on Warp Records. Lead vocalist and drummer Ollie Judge explains that “the song is lyrically inspired by a dystopian novel Tender Is The Flesh [by Argentinean author Agustina Bazterrica] I read where cannibalism becomes the societal norm and humans are manufactured and sold in supermarkets.” The eerie accompanying video was directed by Takashi Ito as an adaptation of his short film, Zone, centered on a faceless individual.
