After yesterday’s 60s-style Greek pop odyssey by Σtella, further stylish retro pop, though with a more psychedelic rock and blues style, this time by the New York-based artist in a song about memory and how it can change through your perception of time. It comes from Breanna’s forthcoming second album, Nothin’ But Time, out 11 November via Fuzz Club. Breanna describes the number further: “Someone once said that life is like riding on a train backwards, you're moving forward but you can only see where you've been. I have these memories from when I was a little girl and the older I get the more I start to see them in different ways. I equate Diamond Light to those shimmering moments that stick out in your brain and continue to move through time with different facets and faces, sort of like a diamond." Breanna is Minnesota-born and Florida-raised, and first fell in love with old country and Delta blues while travelling as a teenager. The accompanying entertaining video takes that perspective by evoking some memories as a little girl.
