Dark, scratchy, mysterious, and devilishly different, this is the mesmeric opening number on a brand new three-track solo project by Deb Googe, revered bass player with My Bloody Valentine, Thurston Moore Group and Brix Smith. Its intricate, layered soundscape is a blend of classic bass, more abstract sounds and field recordings, and also has a hint of early Velvet Underground. It forms part of a Split LP, also also available on a 12-inch vinyl. The other side comprises four tracks by Too Many Things, the Paris-London duo of Marion Andrau and Jem Doulton, self-described gloomy noise/ politico-romantic psych. To explore and enjoy the rest of the LP and to see current tour dates where the 12-inch will be available, see also the Bandcamp page, and other embedded links below.
