Dirty, droll and furry, hairy and hedonistic, this beautifully offbeat, oddball, Slits-cum-Bette Davis, sharp, stark, post-punk number by the London trio is inspired by the act of sex in animal costumes, and was recorded and produced by Dan Carey for his Speedy Wunderground label. The loose fantasy narrative is that a furry convention has hit town and at an afterparty at a nearby hotel (hosted by Tamu himself) there are scenes of unbridled hedonism not unlike those of Freddie Mercury’s legendary parties at New Orleans’ Fairmont Hotel, with all the stroking and scratching attached. We’ve previously showcased Deep Tan’s Hollow Scene and Camelot on Song of the Day. To enjoy more of their work see their Bandcamp page via the embed link below.
Lordy lord, lordy lord
room 44, 44
lordy lord! lordy lord
room 44, 44
Hey Steve!
Wall to wall feral tones
pleasuring an unknown
in the throes, in the throes
dripping down the underclothes
Hey Steve!
Your touch, so furry
my sight, so blurry
your touch, so furry
my sight, so blurry
in another way (so furry)
gonna find our way (so furry)
it's Tamu's favourite place
Mursuits made with that patch
freedom for a furry flash
muscle furs scritch and scratch
it's a match, it's a match
Hey Steve!
Room 44, 44
pours into the corridor
lordy lord, lordy lord
room 44, 44
Hey Steve!
Your touch, so furry
my sight, so blurry
your touch, so furry
my sight, so blurry
in another way (so furry)
gonna find our way (so furry)
it's Tamu's favourite place
Trent's getting closer to god
Trent's getting closer to god
Trent's getting closer to god
gripping tight his new cattle prod
Trent's getting closer to god
Tent's getting closer to god
Trent's getting closer to god
gripping tight his new cattle prod
Your touch, so furry
my sight, so blurry
your touch, so furry
my sight, so blurry
in another way (so furry)
gonna find our way (so furry)
it's Tamu's favourite place
