The title track from the forthcoming LP by the Vancouver band is wondrously original psychological creation about bad behaviour and whether you can separate the art from the artist, featuring vocals, harp, violin, and synth effects. Gentle Party are Elisa Thorn, Meredith Bates and Jessicka Ylirussi, with additional effects here by producer Chris Gestrin. Elisa wrote this song at a friend's artist residency called LEÑA on Galiano Island in British Colombia, using a tiny Reface CS synthesizer, which brought about fresh ideas and sounds. The animated video, with a slant at the patriarchy, is a collaboration between artists Eva Dominelli and Ryan Qui.

Do you believe in God Almighty?
I hope you diligently pray
And at confession you will say
Please forgive me for my god complex
Please forgive me I pray
Please forgive me for my god complex
Please forgive me while you pray at my feet
How can you separate the man from his art
How can you separate the man from his art
Do you believe in God Almighty?
I hope you diligently pray
And at confession you will say
Please forgive me for my god complex
Please forgive me I pray
Please forgive me for my god complex
Please forgive me I pray
Please forgive me for my god complex
