Hello! And welcome to a new Song Bar series. What is is? It does what it says on the tin. And why? It's just a celebration of great songs. Some will be well known, some more obscure, and some brand new. Some will be on YouTube, some on other formats. They might be loosely connected by theme, sound or artist, but the main reason is that they flow into each other and offer a great way to start the day. They will gradually build up into playlists, and larger patterns will emerge. First up, we start with a heart-stopping, upbeat classic by Stevie Wonder, written with his mother Lula May Hardaway, Sylvia Moy and producer Henry Cosby, and released in 1967 when Stevie was only 17. It remains one of the great love songs of all time.
