I chose the topic, but failed to foresee how traumatising some of the songs would be for me. There was nothing I didn't know already, but having all these laments in one place was heartbreaking. Instead of commenting on each song I'm going allow this wonderful music to speak for itself.
We are the last of the humans, all the brothers and sisters we used to share the world with are extinct. My one hope is that the whales and their family see us off, and survive.
