A first album for six years by the London electronic artist Derwin Dicker, and it’s a welcome return with a distinctively lovely palette of twinkling sounds, loops and textures, with Japanese and other influences. Other than a house self-release as DJ Jenifa in 2019, this is his first LP since 2016’s Good Luck and Do Your Best. Back at his best, standout experimentation appears on tracks including The Dream, The Corner, The Spiral, New Days, and Joni’s Room. Out on City Slang.
